Governor's Thanks
Dear Janell,
I wanted to thank you for your contribution as a gift vendor for the golden anniversary celebration of the Governor's Residence.
The celebration kicked off on Sunday with a full house. We were amazed every day by the crowds of visitors to the residence. Travelers arrived from down the street and as far away as Hong Kong to walk through the grounds and tour the home. During the week the Governor and I shook hands and welcomed people to "the people's house."
Each day a special presentation about the rick history of the residence was greeted with excitement from a roomful of interested people both young and old alike. Everyone walked away with a new appreciation for our wonderful state and our Governor's Residence.
The events were capped off on Friday with bus tours, a street dance and a festival that was matched by a gorgeous day of weather. The attendees were met with children's laughter, friends conversing and a beautiful sunset to cap our busy week of events.
This week was a success thanks in large part to wonderful and generous folks like you who contributed their time and resources. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You helped make the celebration a success! Thank you again!
