GROW Nebraska Again Offering Popular Web Site Critique in August
HOLBROOK, NEB. — GROW Nebraska, an outreach program of the Central Plains Foundation, has assembled a six-member panel of industry experts to critique web sites for interested business owners.
The deadline to submit applications for the critique session is Monday, August 11. An application form, as well as session costs can be found at www.grownebraska.com.
The panel will rate web sites in the areas of audience/purpose, graphics, navigation, content, and functionality. Each applicant will receive personal critiques from all six panelists no later than August 25.
Panelists include:
- Betty Beurer, Beurer Computer Consulting, Kearney, Neb.
- Ann Byers, Nebraska Information Technology Commission, Lincoln, Neb.
- Jeff Eske, Webhed, Omaha, Neb.
- Connie Hancock, University of Nebraska Cooperative Extension Information Technology Team, Sidney, Neb.
- Christian Hornbaker, Nebraska Department of Economic Development’s Travel and Tourism Division, Lincoln, Neb.
- John Rood, Nebraska Digital, Lincoln, Neb.
GROW Nebraska’s mission is to maximize the state’s entrepreneurial and small business spirit, create an economically viable and sustainable environment for entrepreneurs, and generate social awareness through promotion, marketing and education. The organization currently has more than 200 members, and last year distributed more than 23,000 Gift Guides listing member products, services and retail stores. Other services offered by GROW Nebraska includes product evaluations, “Product of Nebraska" brand identification, cooperative advertising in national magazines, Internet representation, and marketing workshops.
