Yendra to judge GROW Nebraska Session
Holbrook - Barb Yendra of George Spencer Vineyard and Tasting Room in Gibbon has been selected as one of the judges for the GROW Nebraska Product Evaluation Session in Holbrook on Thursday.
She will be one of five judges to analyze Nebraska products for the GROW Nebraska marketing and training program.
The product evaluation session enables entrepreneurs and small businesses to have their products critiqued for marketability, originality, pricing and packaging.
"It's an important first step for people looking to start or wanting to increase sales for their business," said Janell Anderson Ehrke, GROW Nebraska Founder and CEO. George Spencer Vineyard and Tasting Room was established in 1998 and is one of Central Nebraska's treasures, featuring internationally acclaimed Nebraska wines, a seven-acre vineyard and tasting room.
"The gift shop features gourmet foods, jewelry and unique gifts, which is why we selected Barb for the Product Evaluation Panel," Anderson Ehrke said.
Yendra also will participate in a panel discussion during the GROW Nebraska Membership Meeting. "We have had really good feedback from participants on the product evaluation process," Anderson Ehrke said. "We have even made some sales directly at the product evaluation session to store owners."
The Product Evaluation is one of the most valuable services offered by GROW Nebraska.
