OK Cafe Gives Moms a Gift that Keeps on Giving
Mother's dining at the OK café this weekend will receive their choice of five different trees and bushes...From Lilacs to Black Walnut trees to Dogwoods.
The owner of the restaurant said that giving away a tree is like giving a gift of life ...a gift that keeps on giving...And since Hastings is known as the greenest city in America it is a great gift...
“I have a huge respect for mother and motherhood ...this event tells me what we want to do is spend time with our mothers and show our appreciation and be there when they need us when they get older,” said Pat Randolph, OK Café owner.
They plan to give away more than 400 small trees this Mothers Day weekend.
