Winsome Backer Now Western Coordinator for GROW Nebraska



GROW Nebraska, a non-profit marketing and training program for Nebraska small businesses, has appointed Winsome Backer of North Platte as Western Coordinator. GROW Nebraska is based out of Holbrook, Nebraska and has locations in Lincoln, Grand Island, Kearney and Bertrand. 

Backer graduated from the University of Nebraska-Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in International Studies and Spanish. She has previously worked for the West Central Nebraska Development District and understands the importance of entrepreneurship.  Her new responsibilities include recruitment of new members, new business press releases, and the Flavors of Nebraska project.
